Kuźma Józef

Profesor zwyczajny doktor habilitowany, profesor emerytowany Uniwersytetu Pedagogicznego w Krakowie im. Komisji Edukacji Narodowej w Krakowie, profesor zwyczajny Krakowskiej Akademii im. Andrzeja Frycza Modrzewskiego, gdzie do 2016 roku pracował na Wydziale Humanistycznym.

Józef Kuźma (b. 30 November 1935 in Łososina Dolna, southern Poland) is a specialist in pedagogy-comparative, school and teachers education. Professor emeritus of the Pedagogical University of Cracow. He is the author and co-author of over 264 papers and 35 books. He was the supervisor of 18 PhD dissertations and 274 MA theses. He co-ordinated sessions at the VIII and X World Congresses of Comparative Education Societies in Prague (1992) and Cape Town (1998) and was a speaker at the XI WCCES in Seoul (2001); he was also a member of the Executive Committee of the WCCES from 2001 to 2004. He was a speaker at an international conference devoted to educational reform at Columbia University (1994) and at the World Forum of Education in Beijing (2002).
